Hi, I’m Sam (a.k.a. Shortie), and I build custom surfboards for the way you surf — your lines, your body, and the waves you love to ride.
Every board is designed and finished by me — no production line, no shortcuts. From flowing pigment work to a clean, durable glass job, it’s all about creating something that feels right under your feet and amplifies the joy that surfing brings.

The micro mid is the ultimate fun board, taking the shape of a mid-length, but subtracting the length while still holding plenty of volume.
The wide point on this is pushed 2 1/2” North of the centre, making the nose nice and wide while the tail is pulled into a pin. It surfs like a shortboard, but paddles as if it had 100 litres.
To add to this, it has a vee bottom running from the nose to tail and double concave out the back, so turning is made easy!
I recommend riding this board about 3”-5” longer than your short board.
It can be ridden as a straight twin fin or has the option for a stabiliser fin.
The Crazy Swayze is your ideal board for all conditions. It has a low entry/exit rocker and a deep single concave to create lift and speed. Combined with a double concave out the tail for maximum manoeuvrability, it makes it feel as if the board is doing all the work for you.
The outline is pushed slightly forward of centre for ease of paddling. The rails are straightened off the tail to create some serious drive through turns.
I recommend riding this board about an inch longer than your own height.
